Meet the Team

  • Tim McInerney

Tim was an 800-meter specialist for the storied Georgetown middle distance program. Raised in New Jersey, and wearing it on his sleeve, Tim was a member of the historic Christian Brothers Academy XC program, winning two 4xMile National Championships along with multiple All-American honors. At Georgetown, Tim ran 1:46.63 in the 800, was an NCAA First Team All-American and National Runner-Up in the Distance Medley Relay, and was a 9-time First Team All-Big East honoree across the 800, 4×400m, and 4×800m, the latter of which being a Big East record. Tim qualified for the 2024 Olympic Trials in the 800 and ended his collegiate career as an Academic All-American. For most of the year, Tim’s sanity is severely impacted by the success of the Mets and the 49ers, a fandom he shares with his parents and six younger siblings.

  • Camden Gilmore

Camden, a Georgetown University graduate, grew up just outside of Baltimore but has always considered DC his second home. As a Hoya, Camden displayed diligence and a relentless work ethic in all that he did. During his time at Georgetown, he earned First Team All-American honors and posted a personal best of 3:38.49 in the 1500m. In the 2024 Penn Relays 4xMile Championship of America, he aided the quartet of Hoyas in setting a new American Record. Camden was also a 12-time All-Big East First Team honoree across the 1500, Mile, 3000, 3000m Steeplechase, DMR, and 4×800m events. Now in his post-collegiate career, Camden is excited to represent Paraguay on the international stage. Off the track, Camden is an avid Orioles and Ravens fan, a dog dad to Crimson, and an aspiring home barista mastering his latte art.

  • Matt Payamps

Matthew Payamps is a recent Georgetown middle-distance runner. Hailing from St. Anthony’s HS in Long Island, Matt anchored his team to glory in the 2019 HS DMR Championship of America (Out-kicking Tim). During his collegiate career, he was a Big East champion, NCAA All-American, set school records in both the 1000m and the mile, and was part of Georgetown’s DMR team which finished runner-up at the NCAA Championships. He was also a 13-time First Team All-Big East honoree across the 800, 1500, Mile, and 4×800m relay. As a dual citizen of the United States and the Dominican Republic, Payamps plans to represent the Dominican Republic in all future competitions and is the Dominican National Record Holder in the 1500m, Mile, and 3000m events. Payamps holds personal bests of 1:47.17 800m, 2:19.31 1000m, 3:37.60 1500m, and a 3:55.53 1-mile. Matt has never once received a good haircut.
