A New Take on an Old Classic
In the 1990s and early 2000s, the premier professional middle-distance group in the US was none other than The Enclave. Established by legends such as Frank Gagliano, Rich Kenah, Steve Holman, Bryan Woodward, Peter Sherry, John Trautmann, Tom Nohilly, and many others, The Enclave quickly became an extension of the historic Georgetown program, accruing countless world-class results, as well as medals on national and world stages.
Our mission is simple: Uphold the legacy of a legendary group, nearly a quarter century removed, while fostering growth in the sport from the youth level, to the professional world, and everything in between. This rendition of The Enclave exists solely out of our respect for those who came before us.
The Enclave consists of athletes focused on one thing: Chasing the dreams we’ve had since childhood and excelling on the highest stages of the sport.
In doing so, we are generously supported by Bandit Running.
The Enclave fosters transparency. The elite side of running can be ruthless, and with continual social content, videos, and the like, we intend to offer an inside glimpse into the reckless beauty of post-collegiates dutifully working to be the best.
The Enclave is a 501c3 Non-Profit funded by donations. Please consider donating to foster and support the legacy of this historic team, and to help its members interact with the youth running community through group-sponsored community events. Further, we are actively seeking organizations, clubs, high school/college teams, and everything in between to work with, speak to, and host events for within the running community. Contact us if that is of interest to you.
